Depending on these attributes, lab-grown stones can be rare, high-quality, and more expensive than genuine stones, in addition to providing greater creativity and flexibility in the cutting and design process. All stones are carefully set into jewelry, assuring the highest quality in the finished piece.

Parle Color Celebration

Parle Lotus Garnet

Unearthed in the Mahenge Region of North Tanzania, Lotus Garnet was only recently discovered in late 2015. Found in alluvial mines, the amount of rough is unknown and each production is small and has a variation in color with every pocket produced.

The unique pinkish orange to orangey pink color of Lotus Garnet makes it an exceptional substitute to Padparascha Sapphire, Morganite and Imperial Topaz.

It is best viewed in sunlight and it has a slight red fluorescence which can give the appearance of color change.

Ruby: The glowing red of Ruby has been desired by many throughout the ages. Rich reds evoke emotions of desire and passion making Ruby one of the most romantic gemstones. Ruby is the most valuable variety of Corundum and is colored by the trace element Chromium. The world’s most renowned Rubies have come from Burma, now Myanmar, with sources like Mozambique and Madagascar gaining significance in recent years.

Sapphire: The velvety blues of Sapphire have created a strong desire for the gemstone throughout history. Prized by Nobility, Sapphire has been discovered on nearly every continent. Sapphire is a member of the Corundum family and is colored by the trace elements iron and titanium. The hardness and durability of Sapphire make it a desirable choice for jewelry.

Emerald: Cleopatra is said to have greeted the Romans on a bed of Emeralds to show her wealth and power, in fact the world’s first Emerald mine was believed to be in Egypt. Emerald is a member of the Beryl family and is colored by the trace element Chromium. It is common to see inclusions within an Emerald which are due to the growing conditions and crystal structure of the gemstone. The lush green of Emerald has symbolized growth and renewal throughout the ages.

Australian Opal was formed hundreds of millions of years ago in an ancient seabed and is the result of water seeping into silica rich soil. Opal’s kaleidoscope of color make it one of nature’s most vibrant treasures.

Sea Shell Pearl

The Seashell Pearl Collection features onyx, mother of pearl and the finest seashell pearls. The inner nucleus of a Belle Étoile seashell pearl is created from carefully carved and polished shells of giant fossilized deep sea oysters. This gives the seashell pearls their consistent weight and causes them to often be mistaken for Tahitian or South Sea pearls. The final product is a strong and lustrous pearl which, with the proper care, can last a lifetime.
